Our Girls Player of the Week for January 7th to January 13th is Hope Drake of Briar Woods.
The Falcons have a lot of talented players, especially seniors, but Drake continues to be the player that often provides Briar Woods a key basket in tough games. Last week in two Potomac District wins over Riverside and Stone Bridge, Drake averaged 21.5 points per game.
Drake, who has a reputation as one of Northern Virginia’s best shooters, has committed to play her college ball at Washington (MO) next season.
