Our Boys Player of the Week for January 7th through January 13th is DK Moore of Forest Park.
Forest Park had a big team win over Potomac last week and had two players get novahoops.com consideration for Player of the Week. While we could have also gone with the talented Roman Hendrix (23 points versus Potomac), we selected his teammate, senior Dekevion (DK) Moore.
Moore, a tall guard who is capable of playing multiple positions, scored 27 points versus Potomac, and also poured in 24 points in a win over Gar-Field and had 26 in a loss to #3 Fairfax Christian on Saturday. Moore has been a walking bucket for the Bruins this season, and has seen his recruiting interest pick up considerably in recent weeks.
