Our Girls Player of the Week for January 29th to February 4th is Mary Pennefather of Seton.
It was another great week in a remarkable career for Pennefather, a guard that has been crushing it at Seton seemingly forever. On Thursday against Oakcrest she eclipsed 2,000 career points in a win, then the very next night dropped 33 in a win over John Paul the Great.
The Conquistadors are having a very good year with wins over Class 6 public schools like Colgan, South County, and Mount Vernon. Pennefather, a student of the game and prolific shooter and scorer, has obviously been a large part of that.
