South Lakes Scott
Size and shooting is a combination that makes Jordan Scott of South Lakes a very tough stop.

Boys Players of the Week are Jordan Scott, South Lakes and Joseph Chalabi, Madison

Both South Lakes sophomore guard Jordan Scott and Madison senior guard Joseph Chalabi impressed us with their stat lines last week. So instead of picking one for Player of the Week and motivating the entire other team for tonight’s big Madison-South Lakes tilt, we selected both.

Scott continues to attract college interest as one of the best shooters in the area, with an impressive 6’5″ height to boot. He scored 27 points in a win over Westfield and was also his team’s leading scorer earlier in the week against Chantilly. Scott also averaged nine rebounds a game last week, as well as over six deflections on defense.

Everything flows through Chalabi on offense at Madison, and the tough senior is a plus defender as well. Check out the guy’s stat line in a win over Oakton: 15 points, 14 assists, nine rebounds. You could make a case for Chalabi as MVP of not only the Concorde District, but the region and beyond–he’s that essential to the Warhawks’ success.

Congrats to Jordan and Joey and while it may be a tie this morning, it won’t be tonight!
