Since transferring from Paul VI, Amaya Ramey has been the driving force behind the #2 Patriots’ success this year. Offensively, Ramey is strong attacking the basket, and when she’s hitting from outside can be un-guardable.
Ramey was un-guardable in a 69-66 win over Rosedale Christian (MD) last week. In that one, the guard-forward had 33 points, punishing Rosedale in both the halfcourt and in transition.
VAA also lost to national powerhouse DME Academy last week, its only blemish on a so-far great season. The Patriots haven’t been completely healthy all year, but fortunately for them Ramey has been healthy, and she’s been fantastic!
