Potomac is comfortably atop the Cardinal District, and one big reason why is forward Meme Conteh. Last week Conteh averaged over 20 points per game as the Panthers scored three wins.
Conteh is relentless on the boards, and is a threat to not only grab 10 a game, but 20 on occasion. She’s strong and crafty in the low post, and is also quite capable of attacking the rim on the drive from the high post, wing, or in transition. One of the top offensive forwards already in Northern Virginia, Conteh is still just a junior.
This week Conteh has already scored 30 in a win over Colgan, and her stock continues to rise as her all-around game improves. Congrats to Meme and the Panthers!
