The Boys Player of the Week for December 5th-11th is David King of Hayfield. King and the Hawks are off to a stellar start which began last week with two big wins over Bishop Ireton and South County.
The junior forward averaged 21 points per game and seven rebounds per game in those two victories. King often mans the power forward or center position for Hayfield, and regularly embarrasses taller opponents at those positions with his superior footwork in the post and seemingly endless motor.
