Our Girls Player of the Week for January 9th to January 15th is Natayvia Lipscomb of the Potomac Panthers.
If you like to watch a player that can score from all angles, inside and out, you might want to take a look at Lipscomb sometime. The 5’10” senior guard-forward was an all-district selection last season, but seems to have gotten more dominant this year. On Friday night she had 35 points and 15 rebounds as the Panthers defeated rival Forest Park to run their winning streak to four games.
Lipscomb and Potomac have managed a quick 7-1 start despite only having two seniors on the roster.
