Our Boys Player of the Week for the week of February 4th to February 10th is Darren Harris of Paul VI.
There’s definitely some personal bias involved here, but we’ve been major fans of Harris for a long while. One reason is because he plays within the game, often quietly and unassumingly doing what his team needs to win.
But every now and then the 6’6″ senior reminds us what a devastating force he can be when he is hot. Last week he dropped 52 points in a Panthers win over St. Mary’s Ryken. In that game, the Duke commit was a perfect 15-of-15 from the line, 7-11 from three-point range, and 7-8 from within the arc.
Congrats to Darren and the Panthers, who remain undefeated in the WCAC!
