Our Boys Player of the Week for last week is Daylen Martino of Meridian.
We noticed the 5’10” sophomore’s improved, impactful play during the Nova Cavs Summer League this offseason, and Martino has carried his solid play into the actual season.
Last week the point guard helped lead Meridian to three wins. In those Mustang victories he averaged 19 points a game, 5.33 assists per game, seven rebounds per game, and four steals per game.
In short, he did it all as a major catalyst for his team’s success. Congrats to Daylen and the rapidly improving young Mustangs!
