Our Boys Player of the Week for December 10th through December 16th is Carlton Young of Wakefield.
In three games last week Wakefield announced itself as a contender, winning two and losing a close one to top ten-ranked Alexandria City. Young was a dominant force in those contests, averaging over 28 points per game and over nine rebounds per game.
That alone is impressive, but the 6’4″ senior was highly efficient on offense in delivering his production. In those games he shot almost 66% from the field, and delivered 10 steals on defense as well.
