Our Player of the Week (1/19-1/25) sponsored by Evolution Basketball Training is Hassen Kurtu of South Lakes. With the Seahawks missing key components in both games, Kurtu averaged 21.5 points per contest to lead South Lakes to two key Liberty District victories over Yorktown and Washington-Liberty. Kurtu also contributed 11 rebounds in the Yorktown win, as the Seahawks remained undefeated in district play.
